Title says it all. And I don't believe I have ever got them. Using version 1.0b11 (2009041623). Growl worked with T-Bird

Inappropriate?Hmm, that's working ok for me but I see there's a new growl framework we can update to. I'll update to the latest and use that in beta 12 and we can see if that fixes what you are seeing.
Make sure you have alerts turned on in Preferences / General!
Thanks again for trying Postbox!

Inappropriate? Not seeing the 'alerts' option within General. I have 'animate the dock icon' and 'play a sound' checked for when new messages arrive. Using Growl 1.1.4
-
Inappropriate?oops I forgot on the Mac we just use growl there is no pref UI In Postbox for it. Hopefully updating the growl SDK will fix this for you. I landed it so it will be in the next update.

Inappropriate?I was having this problem, but uninstalling and reinstalling Growl seemed to fix this. For some reason Postbox wasn't registered in my Growl applications listing at Postbox launch, but it was added once I received my first email message.
Then again, Growl has always been rather temperamental for me, so this may not be a Postbox specific problem. -
Inappropriate? We put together a test build for the upcoming beta 12 release that fixes this if you could give it a spin and verify that this issue is fixed that would be really helpful.

Thanks!

Inappropriate? This should be fixed now in beta 12 which was just released:

Thanks for the bug report! -
Inappropriate?I'm having this problem as well, but only with messages that are filtered into folders - if they are, there are no growl notifications and the dock icon does not show a red number indicating a new message
I’m sad

Inappropriate?I lost growl when I upgraded to ver 1.0.0 on Snow Leopard. Growl works for everything else except PB.
-
Inappropriate?Postbox 1.0.1, Snow Leopard 10.6.1 and Growl 1.2.
I get now Growl notifications. Any ideas?? -
Me to with Postbox 1.0.1, Leopard 10.5.8 an Growl 1.2 -
Inappropriate?Me to with Postbox 1.0.1, Leopard 10.5.8 an Growl 1.2 and the Dockicon dosn't jump.
I've had uninstall Growl and then install again. But it dosen't work!
Any ideas?
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I've lost Growl notifications too. Can't recall when they went away though. I also tried the new Growl/GNTP add-on from the Postbox site. It doesn't work for me either.
-
Inappropriate? My notifications are gone after installing the growl addon. Before growl v1.2 works fine on my mac
-
Inappropriate?Dirk went into Preferences / Advanced / Config Editor /
typed in mail.biff
and set it to true to fix his issue.

Inappropriate? This fixed the issue for me.
Thanks Scott! -
Inappropriate?cool I wonder if that add-on is doing something weird like turning that pref off. Odd that you guys needed to do that.
-
Inappropriate?Hi Scott, to change the mail.biff.show_alert fix the problem, thanks.
But the setting lost after restart Postbox. I must allways change the mail.biff.show_alert setting after restart.
What can I do to save the setting?
Regards, Andreas
