Postbox crashes six times today, fails to deliver crash reports
Postbox has already crashed six times on me for no apparent reason. The crashes occur when Postbox isn't even in focus, so I can't see what's going on; just out of no where the crash dialog appears on my Windows 7 Super Bar.
Worse, when the crash dialog box pops up and I click Restart Postbox, briefly the message "There was a problem sending the crash report" appears, meaning you guys can't help me.
What to do now?

I have this problem, too!
Tell me when someone solves it.
The more people who report this problem, the more it gets noticed.

Inappropriate?Hi Voice,
Can you try this test build to see if it fixes it for you:

hopefully the crash reporter will be able to send again.

Inappropriate? Thanks Scott, your response time is absolutely staggering. I'll let you know if the crash reporter works, but since you've been focusing on stability for this release, I wonder if I'll get to see the crash reporter. ;-)
If there's a way to invoke the crash reporter (i.e. simulate a crash), please let me know.
Cheers!
Rasheed
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Hi Scott,
Unfortunately, Postbox crashed again. It happened while quickly clicking on various IMAP folders I have in my IMAP account. Postbox hung, then the crash reporter launched. It unfortunately still reports a problem when trying to send the report out. :(
What to do next?
Cheers,
Rasheed
PS: just to be clear, this happened with the 1.0.2 update you proposed.
I’m disappointed

Inappropriate?Postbox should create the dump files automatically even, if it fails to submit. Start < Run and paste this text: %AppData%\Postbox\Crash Reports
See what's in that folder. There is the chance that nothing of importance is in there. You can always try about:crashes.
If you want to easily simulate a crash, I heard this extension is the best at simulating one. -
Inappropriate?Thanks, netMASA. :-)
I've created a zip file containing all the pending Crash Reports that didn't make their way out over the past day. Please let me know where to send them.
A few minutes ago, Postbox crashed again. Like before, there was no user interaction; I was watching a YouTube video in Opera. Thus it's safe to say that in my case, 1.0.2 is no improvement over 1.0.1.
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate?Voice,
Can you send your zipped up crash reports to us at support@postbox-inc.com?
Thanks in advance,
-Seth
