Postbox has the wrong useragent string
Just a small little bug. The useragent for Postbox is: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.14) Gecko/2009082707 Firefox/3.0.14 (this is the default value in the useragent override) and the app useragent says it's Thunderbird.
I was just thinking that maybe it would be better to actually show some Postbox pride. This is the user agent that is sent with emails and what is shown to sites when ThunderBrowse is being used.

Inappropriate?actually it should just be the user agent that we show websites for loading content in the start page and other browser windows. We found doing this made things like running google calendar as your start page work better since they were claiming we weren't a supported browser.
-
Inappropriate?oh by the way, where did you see this part:
"the app useragent says it's Thunderbird. " -
Inappropriate?You still include general.useragent.extra.thunderbird as a pref.
Also about google calendar runs just fine with a thunderbird useragent string. I think your problem is more related to the fact that https (secure auth) cookies will not save whereas regular cookies will be saved.
I'm wondering if https cookies are being stripped from headers, cause it seems like it. -
Inappropriate? Thanks I opened a bug to fix the useragent.extra.thunderbird issue.

Inappropriate?netMasa,
This issue should be fixed in our test build for Postbox 1.0.2.
