Quick way to locate, but not open attachments
Postbox for Windows with AOL. How can I quickly go the attachment I download so I can scan it with McAfee?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Inappropriate? Is clicking on Save Attachment again the fastest way? In other words is there a way to stay at the saved attachment file location after the attachment is saved?
-
Inappropriate?Probably save attachment if I understand your question correctly John. Although I thought most virus scanners were scanning at the protocol level so they scan it before it even hits the mail client but I'm not up to date on that stuff.

Inappropriate?Scott, thanks for the response.
I am not a security expert, but I talked to a McAfee employee a couple of years ago and asked if I should scan each attachment "again." He said yes, it would not hurt and might help. Regardless of whether the step is needed (I know the other reasons why I might have been given that "be safe" answer), that's what I do and it at least makes me feel better!
I am new to PB having passed over other products and hope you will tell everyone at PB that I appreciate the good work and planning very much. This is a super product because of its ease of use and power -- a combination found only in the best software.
