Right-Click Archiving working differently than Archiving via the Toolbar

If you archive a piece of mail via the "right click" context menu (as entered via the keyboard) and archive a message then no message is selected after the operation is complete. Hitting an arrow key will then highlight the top message. This is different than selecting the archive button on the toolbar with the mouse which acts as it should (although even this chooses one item up instead of the next one down, this seems backwards to me since the mail is oriented with the most recent at the top, at least in my installation).
