Search has stopped working
I have 1 IMAP account and dont store messages locally. No mater what i search for (including words i know exist in emails) or in what field, i get the same "No messages matched your search". This used to work, i think it broke when i upgraded to 1.0.1.

Inappropriate?hi wesley,
does a simple search like:
from:wesley
fail to return results as well?

Inappropriate?I am having the same problem. Any and all searches fail to work, no matter the simplicity. I even tried a lone wildcard (*).
1 IMAP account. Don't store message locally, although I checked that feature in my account settings to see if it would solve the problem, and it didn't.
If you remember Scott, I had an issue a few weeks ago about Postbox crashing from corrupt database, and you sent me a fix for the crasher via email. Once I installed the crasher the search stopped working. Now that I'm upgraded to 1.0.1, it still doesn't work. I hope that narrows it down some. -
Inappropriate?Hi Conrad,
Any errors in Tools / Error Console after you perform a search like from:scott?
-Scott -
Inappropriate? No, but I do get a ton of these "warnings":
Warning: Key event not available on some keyboard layouts: key="c" modifiers="accel, alt"
Source File: chrome://messenger/content/messenger.xul
Line: 0
But doesn't really have anything to do with this. Is there a way I can completely clear the index and reindex everything for ALL accounts? -
Inappropriate?Okay get this. I was viewing a message in my inbox, and out of curiosity I clicked the "Find recent: messages" button in the right sidebar because I knew that performed a basic "from:" search query. It worked just fine.
Clearing out the search, and typing in a new search now works just fine too.
Go figure. -
that's really strange so now all searches are working for you?
