Show messages in thread summary view in chronological order.
In lieu of a proper Gmail-style conversation view, it would be a very helpful (and hopefully simple) change to show the thread summary view in chronological order.
Currently, clicking on the top of a thread presents a view in reverse chronological order. In order to see what the conversation is about, the user must scroll to the bottom of the summary view, read, and then slowly scroll up until the next message is fully in view. This is time-consuming and cumbersome. But more than anything, it doesn't make sense to throw the user into the tail-end of a conversation when trying to summarize it.
Please, make the thread summary view useful!

Inappropriate?Works great! Please consider making it the default behavior, or exposing it view a preference dialog that most users would be comfortable with.

I agree, this should be in a pref dialog. It would make the system look more 'complete' in side-by-side comparisons to other email clients. -
Inappropriate?Chronological order (from oldest down to newest) really should be made the default setting. Having messages shown in reverse chronological order is completely insane, and till I found this hidden pref to fix it, this issue (and the other issue about showing quotes by default) almost made me give up on using this client, and go back to Thunderbird.

Inappropriate? And could it be possible to add this tweak in the FAQs please in waiting for a potential integration in PostBox preferences ?
