SMTP problem in sending mails
I'm getting this message when trying to send any mail with my Gmail account configured to Postbox. I can recieve mails perfectely. PLease hellp me out with this.
Sending of message failed.
The message could not be sent because connecting to SMTP server smtp.gmail.com failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your SMTP server settings are correct and try again, or contact the server administrator.

This usually happens because there is a firewall somewhere blocking access to Postbox on the SMTP port.
I assume you created your gmail account via our account setup wizard so we filled in all of the settings for you?
Some things to check:
1) do you have firewall or anti virus software running on your machine in which you might need to create an exception for postbox on the smtp port.
2) do you have a corporate firewall which could be blocking Postbox? -
please let me nag...
I experience random connection failures to various SMTP-Servers, too, as I mentioned on various occasions. It isn't a firewall problem, as it just occurs _sometimes_, otherwise sending works perfectly. Closing and reopeing PB usually helps. (btw, please fix the bug with mails from draft shown with html-tags, it's really annoying in these cases...) -
