To-dos: content disappears if you click outside the to-do area.
When you are creating a To-Do, if you click outside of the to-do area the to-do disappears and what you are writing is gone. This is quite frustrating, especially if you have taken the time to write some body content into your to-do.
I'm better off just writing myself an email again. I like the concept but the to-do should have a little more persistence if focus is lost. Maybe it's opened in a tab, or you can recover it as a drop down from the to-do button.

Inappropriate?More detail (a bit redundant):
If an entry modal is opened (say, to add a Todo), the modal disappears (is closed) if the user changes focus to another applications. This happens with all entry modals, but is most annoying when adding a Todo. A case-in-point is when trying to add details to a Todo and the user must go to their web browser to search, upon coming back to Postbox -- even if content has been added to the modal -- the modal is gone.

Inappropriate? That's a good point Tim. Not sure what to do there with that to-do panel.
-
Inappropriate?Yeah, not sure other than making the modal remain open when switching apps.
But, I rather like the UI functionality when editing a Todo (much like editing an email, although inline). -
Inappropriate?Yes, the UI is nice. And I can get around the problem by saving wherever I am, doing my other thing, then coming back and editing. The ability to edit emails and To Dos is one of the coolest features of Postbox, no doubt.

Inappropriate?robot2020,
I've started a bug on this issue (of the to-do panel dismissing).

Great! :) -
Inappropriate?Tim, robot2020,
This will be fixed in the next release. Thanks again for pointing it out here.

Thank you! -
Inappropriate?Tim and robot2020,
I spoke to quick. I had this working, but there were problems due to the to-do panel not being modal to the entire app.
This will not be fixed in the next release, but I'll keep you posted.
