word and excel 2007 don't recognize my postbox as default program
I have windows 7 beta and use office 2007. When I set postbox as the default program and try to send document from word or excel it says "no default program or email program cannot handle..." . However thunderbird has no problem. Any ideas?

I have this problem, too!

Inappropriate?what version of tbird works for you Mark?
Thanks for using Postbox! -
Inappropriate?So.. Scott... that's a REALLY helpful post. Especially with no follow up for a month.
So does someone know how to stop the error message of "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill ..." after setting postbox to the default mail client, or do I just uninstall postbox?
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hi Kendall,
I just checked and it works for me just fine. Have you checked in "Set Program Access and Defaults" to see if "choose a an Email Program" is set either to "use default" (if Postbox is now officially your email client, or to PostBox, if you want to keep your old client as the official default user.
I use Windows XP. Not sure what the equivalent shtuff is for other OS.
I’m hoping this works for you

Inappropriate?I believe the MAPI bug I just fixed that caused this issue wold be just on Vista taming.
Thanks for jumping in though! -
Inappropriate? We've put together a test build in advance of the next public beta which includes a fix for this issue if you'd be interested in giving it a spin and letting us know.
