Inappropriate?Excellent timing -- we just launched that!
If you're logged in, go to Manage, add feeds, then save. Voila!
Unfortunately at present there's no bulk add function, but that will create new global topics. If you want a Newsroom topic for a new one you've added, just let us know and we'll take care of it. -
Inappropriate? To make sure I'm understanding you, "Manage" lets you add feeds to existing global topics, not create new global topics, yes? I think a Swine Flu topic might be timely. Alternately, a way for someone to discover a user's topic other than navigating to that user's page might be useful. I have a Swine Flu topic, but if folks search for it in the search box, it doesn't come up.

Inappropriate?Nope, you can create new topics. If you search for a topic that doesn't exist, you'll get a page that says: "This topic doesn't have any feeds yet. Manage this topic to add some feeds."
Just click Manage to start adding some, which will auto-create/tag the topic.
However, since you already have a user topic, I can use my magic admin powers to make that a global topic: http://www.postrank.com/topic/Swine%2...
Now you can use Manage to add additional feeds to the global one. -
Inappropriate?Ahh, I didn't notice that! Neat. Thanks!
