I have installed the Reader extension, but all ranked items are "1.0" or, rarely, "10"... let me know if you'd like any more info. Thanks in advance.
update - I finally ran into some items ranked with other numbers, from Lifehacker and Huffington Post, and more than a few hours old. User error on my part?

Inappropriate?J, in general it will take some time for fresh stories to gather and stabilize on their PostRank scores. In practice, we've found that this period is usually about 4 hours.
Likewise, the rankings may depend on the actual content/type of the feed.
Let us know of any other feedback, suggestions! -
Inappropriate?I'd suggest that you make this clear rather than showing it as 1.0 - in heavy feeds like Lifehacker, etc. I can see this effect because the first 10 items are all 1.0 and then everything below those are ranked... I suppose it's okay to stay filtered & see the posts >4 hours later than you would normally have, but it's a bit frustrating when you stay up to date on a feed. In that case I'd rather just not see a ranking.1 Comment

Steve, that's an interesting idea - we'll make a few prototypes where we distinguish rankings for new posts, versus well established posts. -
Inappropriate?Somewhat related: Using the Google Reader greasemonkey script (the beta one for FF3 that used to be available on the blog) in Firefox 3 final, *all* the posts from Politico.com are ranked 1.0, no matter how old or new they are. Yet, when I look at the same feed here: http://www.aiderss.com/all/politico.com , I see lots of pretty rankings. PostRank breaks on this feed somehow.1 Comment Add a comment
