Back/Forward buttons and url bar disabled?!
Firefox 2.0.0.13. Installed, restarted FF, wondered why the back and forward buttons weren't working. Also, the URL bar wouldn't update with the current URL. Finally, the window title bar keeps the title of the first opened tab. I love Google Reader and was looking forward to the filtering of aiderss, but it looks like I'm going to have to wait a while longer.

Inappropriate?Wow that's definitely one we haven't seen before. Can you tell me what other Firefox add-ons you have installed as well as your operating system?
-
Inappropriate?I'm 99% sure that you're seeing this behavior because of a compilation bug in GreaseMonkey - this is something we're currently working on.
In the meantime, if you install the GreaseMonkey script directly, all of these problems should go away. If you have it installed (GreaseMonkey) please give that a try, and let us know how it goes. -
Inappropriate?does your home page happen to be about:blank ?

Inappropriate?Pete, is this a known bug for FF?
-
Inappropriate?I have the following extensions:
Sxipper
Roboform
NoScript
Downthemall
Download in tabs
Firebug
Dom inspector
OS:Windows XP SP2
Confirmed that issue seems to be with AideRSS, since I reenabled it and problem returned.
Thought it was a problem with my profile at first, because for some reason my profile folder didn't backup completely before I reinstalled FF recently (it was missing the chrome folder). However, I created a completely new profile using the built in profile mgr and still had the problem with the back/forward buttons and urlbar.
Thanks for the fast replies, and awesome support ticket system!
I’m indifferent

Inappropriate?dnwholesaler, one way to solve this is to install the Greasemonkey script directly. Ping us with an email (ilya _at_ aiderss.com) and we'll forward you the link.
We're working on a fix for the XPI, but can't guarantee a set date yet. -
Inappropriate?i had all the above and yes, my home page was about:blank. have used it as a chance to upgrade to FF3b5 and now dealing with that.
-
Inappropriate?Ah, you might want to take a look here then: http://getsatisfaction.com/aiderss/to...
P.S. If you're back to FF2, try changing the homepage to something other than about:blank. As odd as it sounds, that fixed the problem for Pete. -
Inappropriate? This bug should be fixed as of 1.2 - are any users still experiencing this?
-
Inappropriate? All my problems are fixed...back/forward buttons working, title text is changing when I select different tabs and i can set my home page to about:blank without any issues. Great work. thanks!
I’m thankful
