Can't get past the 1) 2) prompt upon opening Google Reader

Not sure what's causing the conflict. I've disabled Greasemonkey, I received the activation key, registered an account, restarted ff 3x, logged into aiderss, logged into google reader, alas: i can't use google reader anymore. when i open google reader, i always get the 1) 2) prompt. I get past 1), get past 2) and then it says i can close the window. Huh: Close the window? I want to see my /feeds/. I'm logged into aiderss; when I then open google reader I get the 1) 2) prompt again. Not an intuitive process imho. at one point I didn't know what I was authorizing, but did it anyway (allow the aiderss google reader extension to access the aiderss extension--huh?) my setup: ff 2.0.0.11 with the following exts installed: clipmarks, downloadhelper, febe, flashgot, googlepedia, platypus, prefbar, scrapbook, sharethis, tab mix plus, 1password, adblock plus. any known conflicts there?

I have to agree here. To be honest, a simple explanation of the signup process would have helped, but when you use words like KEY on the "Request a Key" page, then talk about entering a "Token", when you really mean the key you just talked about, It's no surprise that people are having difficulty understanding

a simple page edit to say "Please enter your email address and then click here for a key to be emailed to you (please note that this email may take x days to arrive). When you have received the key, please login to Google Reader and you will be prompted to enter the key. We handle the signup this way because..... "

I'm afraid I have had to uninstall the Extension as I have not received my key.

Here's one for the Development team... Whilst I had the extension installed, the Address in the url bar would not change... so if I was on www.ibm.com and then clicked a bookmark to take me to news.bbc.co.uk, the page would change, but the URL would stay as www.ibm.com

I was using FFox 2.0.0.13 on XP with a number of extensions

    IETAB
    IEView
    ForecastFox Advanced
    PDF Download
    SAGE
    Live HTTP Headers
    Stumpbleupon
    Tab Mix Plus
    Met Office plugin
    Google Toolbar
    IBM Support toolbar

As soon as I uninstalled AideRSS and restarted FFox, the issue went away
