I'm new to this postrank stuff, but I don't see anything consistent in the way that it updates these feeds as I am always seeing stuff lag behind and also seeing consistent gateway errors. I am hoping this gets better, or I will have to use something else that just works.

Yeah, things have been a bit frustrating lately. There are a couple parts of the system that need to be scaled, but until that gets done they're causing the issues you're seeing - timeouts, lags, etc.
I am told that's on the schedule for next week (we've been focused on new product development recently), but unfortunately until then there'll still be intermittent problems. -
Inappropriate?Any update on the status of these problems? I just came back around after a couple of weeks to test out if the feeds were updating correctly and the first click that I made showed the dreaded 503 gateway error.

Inappropriate?And now when I went to check it, both the page and the feed come up fine for me... (Hence the crux of the problem -- it's been nearly impossible to pin down.) I can ask the guys to take another look.
