Invite Token?
When I try to activate the Firefox extension, I get a place to input the invite token, but it's blank. So I click Allow Access and I get:
Invite token is incorrect or not found.
An external application has requested your login credentials and permission to perform certain actions on your behalf, but has failed to include all the required data.
You don't really need to know what this means, except that you can't use the application until this problem is fixed. (It's a third-party problem, not a AideRSS problem.)
There are lots of applications using the AideRSS API. If you are curious about this, visit the AideRSS API Documentation page to see more examples of cool stuff. Otherwise, you might like to head to your home page.

Currently the Firefox Extension is in private beta so unfortunately you need an invite token.
Keep an eye on http://blog.aiderss.com to see when we open the beta up further.
Apologies.

Inappropriate?Oh, this is while using Google Reader in FireFox 2. I also doesn't work if I copy the token ID from the URL of the "Authorize AideRSS" button.
I’m sad

Inappropriate? Is the Firefox extension Freely available now or is it still in private beta? I was assuming that V1.0 of the firefox extension released 1st April indicates it is freely released? If freely available, where does the Invite token come from
-
Inappropriate? The 1.0 release is into publicly viewable private beta. This means that you can request an invite token at <http://gr.aiderss.com/> - but you may not get one right away :)
-
Inappropriate? Are you using the words "KEY" and "TOKEN" but actually meaning the same thing?
You can request a KEY at <http://gr.aiderss.com/> but you enter a TOKEN to get access? -
Inappropriate?Good call! Yes, the invite "key" , "token", and "code" are all the same thing...
-
Inappropriate?A few things...the first text field at http://gr.aiderss.com should state to enter an email address. Secondly, you shouldn't allow a user to download the extension without a key. That would avoid the issues here.
I will say that I love AideRSS and despite this poor experience (I too installed without an invite key) I really look forward to this. I'm very happy about the ability to use this functionality in Google Reader.
I’m disappointed
