Keyboard shortcuts (n/p) do not work in list view.
I've seen similar topic discussing about (j/k), and I'm having that problem too. They just go directly to the next or previous feed item instead of the filtered one. Moreover, The (n/p) pair does not seem to work in the list view at all. Nothing happens when I press either of them. When I switch to expanded view, it behaves the same as (j/k).
Oh, BTW, I'm using the Greasemonkey script, not XPI.

Inappropriate?Ralph, do you have any other GR specific GreaseMonkey scripts installed?
-
Inappropriate?I believe not, at least that's what GreaseMonkey shows at the status bar: only "AideRSS Google Reader Integration".
-
Inappropriate?Hmm, very interesting. We've had this bug surface a number of times, but have never been able to reliably reproduce it. Ralph, are there any specific use cases under which it happens? Any pointers would be really appreciated.

Inappropriate?Thanks for your patience.
After more careful re-check, I found the substance of this problem: The (n/p) pair acts EXACTLY the same with (j/k), that is, it works great when the drop-down menu option "All" is selected. But when I choose "Good", "Great" or "Best" to get the items filtered, the focus travels through ALL items instead of the filtered ones (when I press n/p or j/k). Then I can not see it in most cases. So I thought they don't work, however, the fact is, they do, but not in a way they are supposed to.
I wish I've made everything clear above. If there's anything misleading, it's because I'm not a native speaker. ^^
I’m happy

Ralph, thank you that definitely gives us something to chew on! We'll keep you posted. -
Inappropriate?Hi Ralph,
The devs have figured out the issue present, and it relates to one we were aware of. Unfortunately, due to the way Google Reader and the filtered view interact, there is no easy way to fix it. If one comes to light, we'll certainly implement it, but for the time being I'm afraid I can't give you an exact ETA on when that might be. -
Inappropriate?Melanie and Ilya, thanks for your attention on this matter.
May AideRSS be better.
