Ahh, good call, we should clarify the wording for that. Adding a feed to our system and getting its metrics are separate processes. (Since you only add a feed once, and you check for metrics many times.) So when you got the email the feed had been added, and yeah, assuming that meant the metrics would be there, too, is perfectly reasonable.
