No GreaseMonkey, no joy...
I've got three extensions in an instance of Firefox 2.0.0.12 on XP (Adblock Plus, del.icio.us and AideRSS), and one key, but no luck in activating the extension; similarly no luck on a Mac (10.5.2) running the same version (but with a lot more add-ons, but not GM).
Any ideas?

Are you trying to use it in an unsupported area? It currently only works when viewing an individual feed.

Inappropriate? After going to GoogleReader did you get a screen talking about the extension, or did it just come up like usual?
I’m confused
-
Inappropriate?nope, just came up as usual
-
Inappropriate? It came up like usual, no screen about the extension; same problem for both platforms. I did a full reboot of the machines, and FF, and upgraded on the XP machine to 2.0.0.13 - there's always one user... :)
-
Inappropriate?Could you maybe try disabling your other extensions and see if that changes anything?
Also, how to you access Google Reader? Do you go directly to <http://reader.google.com/> ? -
Inappropriate?OK, it looks like the extensions weren't the issue (I turned them all off then on again), but rather the URL - by default I access reader through http://www.google.co.uk/reader/; if I change to .com, no problems. This was the case on Mac and PC and 2.0.0.12 and 2.0.0.13.

Inappropriate?I have the same problem. Tried google.com/reader and reader.google.com without success.
Does the extension need activation?
I have disabled GreaseMonkey.
Other extensions are: Adblock Filterset.G Updater, Adblock Plus, del.icio.us, Download Statusbar, PDF Download, Tabbrowser Preferences, Talkback

Inappropriate?I had no idea about that. Sorry.
Are there plans to make the script global?
I’m happy
-
Inappropriate?Yes, we are working hard on trying to make the script's functionality available in more views
-
Inappropriate?Marking this problem as solved. To follow the progress of having the extension functionality in other views, see: http://getsatisfaction.com/aiderss/to...
