Ping api and refresh problems
I hoped that ping api will show the last update time of a feed. Will this feature come soon?
I thought that a ping api query will update the feed, but it doesnt, how much time needed for a feed update?
Another question, is that how want you handle the feed refresh rate problem?

Inappropriate?Jadezoole, last update time of a feed is currently displayed directly on our site (just type in the blog in the analyze field on our site). The update interval depends on the popularity of a feed - anywhere between 4 and 12 hours.
We will be adding a public ping API in the foreseeable future, which you'll be able to add to your blogging engine. -
I want use only your api in our site (Hirlapom.hu). Currently we implemented your postrank feature, but because of the delay in feeds it is not good. That's why I want to know further information about your services and your plans. We found your idea quite good, but it needs to be improved. -
Jadezoole, we're working on the infrastructure for quicker and more frequent updates - it's definitely top of mind for us. We're hoping to have this fixed in the coming month or so. In the meantime, please let us know if anything else comes up. -
Inappropriate?I'm using AideRSS to consolidate feeds into a single module on a dashboard I am building. My feeds aren't updating -- a technorati feed is over 3 days old. If I can't get regular refreshes, the service isn't going to work for this purpose.
Is this close to being fixed? -
Kim, what are the URL's of your feeds, we'll investigate what's causing this..
