Widget formatting
Hi gang,
There appears to sometimes be a lot of white space underneath the widget.
Take a look at my Wordpress install at http://www.flightsimx.co.uk as an example.
Is there anything I can do about this?
Cheers,
Mark

Inappropriate?That looks like space that wordpress is adding in.
In your sidebars.php file, you should be able to play with the following line to change the buffer between your widgets. You want to change with the margin-bottom number to adjust this buffer:
li.widget { font-size: 1.3em; line-height: 1.385em; margin-bottom: 2.769em; }
Let me know if this helps. -
Inappropriate?I'm not so sure it is. The gap between the top 2 widgets seems variable. Sometimes there's a large gap, sometimes there isn't. You can see it sometimes just by refreshing the page.

Also just remembered seeing this screenshot: http://yaplc.blogspot.com/2008/12/pos...
Is that actually what you're referring to -- that space at the bottom that makes the widget longer? -
Inappropriate?Hi Melanie. It is a bit intermittent. I've just noticed it the odd time when I visit the site. It's space underneath the widget, not within the widget itself.
Next time I spot it, I'll take a screenshot. I'm using FF3 under OSX, but have noticed it with Safari.
Thanks for taking the time to look.
