Widget not updating with latest feed posts
My PostRank feed page at http://www.postrank.com/feed/a78fd680... is showing different entries to the widget on my blog (http://www.flightsimx.co.uk).
Any ideas? I've checked the hash feed and it looks okay.
Cheers,
Mark

Inappropriate?Hello -- This actually is working right. There is a bit of difference in the way widget analytics work compared to postrank.com. More on that here: http://blog.postrank.com/2009/01/07/p...
I took a look at the posts displayed in your widget, and they all have rather higher engagement metrics numbers than the other posts -- including the ones that score high on postrank.com.
For example, the top post in your widget, "FS Elemental released", shows 101 views, 2 tweets, and 12 clicks. The second widget post, "Lionheart Creations..." shows 75 views, 3 tweets, and three clicks.
Looking at your posts' recent performance on postrank.com, though, the "X-Plane 9.30..." post scored well compared to posts in a similar time frame, but only shows 2 comments, 1 Tumblr post, 9 views, and 1 tweet. That's considerably fewer engagement metrics than the posts that scored the highest on the widget.
Hope that makes sense. (I know the difference in scores can be a bit confusing, and we've been discussing better ways of displaying those metrics.) If you have any additional questions, let me know. -
Inappropriate?Hi Melanie.
Thanks for the clarification - that makes sense :)
Cheers,
Mark
