Tumblr.com does this well. Should be a section where you can input your RSS feeds and have pownce display them in kind. Example: I should be able to add my Flickr RSS feed and have pownce update when I add a photo. This would be nice.
Or, an obvious feature, have Pownce treat del.icio.us bookmarks as a "new link"
I use a lot sets and private messages. I'd like to know if there is a way to share an embed image from flickr which is for friends only or private, because I'd like to share flickr friends-only stuff with pownce friends who don't have an account on Flickr.
Submitting the Flickr URL or the Guest pass doesn't embed the image, and appear just as a link. Is there any user-friendly way to make it embedded??
The image is too large (it has the default size like on the flickr website)
My friend says he's using the AIR app, but I'm not sure it is an important information.
Okay. I thought I had this issue figured out once before because of my privacy settings on Flickr, but I changed them to as public as you can go practically. The issue still exists. No matter how I post the Flickr image URL, it does not convert into a thumbnail for me (I've tried Firefox, IE7, the Pownce App on WinXP posting the url in every possible fashion). Please check into this and let me know why they are not converting. http://pownce.com/elagothro/notes/818... is an example note.
On a sidenote: as a Pro user, I am starting to get disappointed and annoyed by the number of bugs that Pownce continues to have and SIMPLE functionalities that have been suggested by hundreds of users in posts and on the Pownce PbWiki. I understand development takes time and that maybe only a few bug/suggestion reports have been filed, but really not having any bug report feature other than GetSatisfaction is hindering your responses, I think. It's an extra step that prevents the majority of users from trying to contact you.
