When I added a friend to one of my group sets, they could not read the old messages I posted to that group before she was added. I had to forward her the old posts. It would be great if group members can see old group posts no matter when members are added to a group.
Nice to have, but it'd be great to be able to do some limited markup. One thing I will be using Pownce for is quoting pages I find around the net. I would love to be able to italicize titles.

I recently received an email from Pownce telling me about a couple of new features, among them the introduction of RSS feeds for all messages, both public and private. Apparently the feed URL is secured only through adding an additional 8 character password, meaning that should anyone ever get their hands on the RSS feed URL, they would be able to read all my messages.
Even though for someone like me who still does only receive a fraction of the email notifications and could thus use this new feature as an alternative to be notified of new messages this might appear like a great feature at first, I find it a bit, say careless to offer such an option, as now it is potentially possible to read all my messages without having to log in.
Am I being paranoid here or would any of You agree that I just might have a valid point?
I think it would be nice to add the ability to hide certain messages from friends that you may not want to see anymore. For instance if one of your friends posts a large post or if you are having an argument that you just don't want to see anymore you could hide it.
on my main page, i have a thread where not all of the messages appear, even after 'refresh' and reloading, etc. if i click on one of the messages to go to the thread view, i can see the messages.
Edit: this seems to be happening with all of the posts. i can see my replies, but i cannot see my friends until i am in the thread view
I've been using Pownce for a while now and have noticed that I've missed some messages from friends who have included me in a direct message or group message. I would love if I could enable email notifications for direct messages and group messages. And I know there are "plain message" notifications, but I don't use that simply because it fills my inbox with too many messages. Let me know if this is a possibility. Thanks!
