I think it would be cool if the Pownce app gave an option for desktop notification popups that showed the text of the note in the popup. Example would be like the equiv. feature used in the program Snitter
( http://snook.ca/snitter/ ) for tweets , which also runs on Adobe AIR.
Now that Pownce is public, I'm getting friend requests like mad. When it was beta, a little notification would show up on the left side of my browser window saying I had x number of pending requests. Now, I get the friendship request email, but no notification on my Pownce page.
I've been using Pownce for a while now and have noticed that I've missed some messages from friends who have included me in a direct message or group message. I would love if I could enable email notifications for direct messages and group messages. And I know there are "plain message" notifications, but I don't use that simply because it fills my inbox with too many messages. Let me know if this is a possibility. Thanks!
