I have adobe air 1.0 installed. i tried downloading pownce desktop 2.0 and my mac automatically unzips it into a folder instead of using air to install it. is there a workaround or am I just SOL. I also tried installing air 3 beta. Same results.
Pownce only loads my page 20% of the time at best. If I dropped a bunch of contacts would it load more reliably or is this just a problem that everyone is having?
Hi, I am using the Pownce API and when I post a note containing chinese characters it seems like it is not using the correct decoding. I get a note that doesn't decode the characters. (Cant show example here , since this site decodes the characters properly)
Seems like maybe the decoding is messed up on the API calls. not sure .
I've been having problems posting comments via the browser version of Pownce. During a long thread of postings from multiple users (the FNPDC on 3/14) I attempted to submit comments with international characters. Those comments with non-standard characters wouldn't post, but others went through without problem. I tried cutting and pasting special characters from comments posted by international users, but those wouldn't post either. So I'm wondering if there's something with the encoding settings of my browser (I've tried Firefox and Opera with the same results.) Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
I noticed Pownce shows a person's full name if you hover over it in anyone's friend list. Personally, I'd prefer it if last names were kept private, to me and my friends. Any chance of fixing this?
