I tried emailing this but no reply, so will try this path..
I run a site called twitterfeed.com which lets users post RSS updates to twitter. As far as I can make out, pownce blocks requests to pownce RSS feeds coming from my domain (just a simple wget from the domain times out, while from other machines it always works).
I had a similar issue with del.icio.us, who have now helpfully whitelisted the twitterfeed.com domain/IP addresses - any chance someone at pownce could take a look at this, and hopefully do something similar?
It used to be here, but now it's gone. All I can do is use the private RSS feed, which I don't want to do because I want to embed my pownce feed into my blog sidebar.
Yahoo Pipes and Twitterfeed receive 403 and 503 errors when items are clicked on the RSS feeds fed through them.
Pipes and Twitterfeed worked a few weeks ago so it seems a change was implemented on the Pownce side. Twitterfeed dev has looked into it and it seems Pownce is blocking the twitterfeed domain itself (can't even connect to the Pownce domain anymore to validate RSS feeds).
Are these intentional syndication limitations Pownce has setup or a technical issue that may eventually be resolved?
I am tying to import my Pownce feed into my Tumblelog. Unfortunately it imports them and sets the date to be 6 hours previous to what it should be (ex. 10PM shows as 4PM...). I even tried to show them in Safari and Mail just to make sure it wasn't Tumblr that was messing it up, but it still shows as 6 hours behind time.
It's odd because on my public page it shows the posts as being 2 minutes ago or 3 hours ago which would be the correct times, it's just the RSS feed that doesn't have the correct time in it.
