Ability to message multiple people without "Sets"
Currently, in order to send a message to multiple people they must be part of a "Set."
I like the concept of sets for groups of people you may frequently message.
It's a pain to have to create a new set (and then delete it if you think you'll never use it again) if you want to send a 'one-off' to a custom group of people.
One thought on how to achieve it while keeping the interface clean: rather than using a standard HTML drop-down, use a custom made drop down or list box that includes people and check boxes.

Keep up the good work! :-)

Inappropriate?Great suggestion. I've been pondering for a while now how to handle this the best way. The solution you put together would be great, except you lose the ability to jump to a person's name using your keyboard like in a normal select box. There are certainly pros and cons to every design choice... we'll need to put some serious thought into this one and figure out the best solution. Cheers!
I’m thankful for the great help

Inappropriate?Facebook actually does it really well in that they put a text box at the top of a list-box. By typing in the text-box it uses javascript to "narrow" down the list as you type. Pretty slick, however on their site you can only select one of the results... Anyway, if you choose to do it I'm sure you'll figure out how to do it well.
I’m happy to be heard

Inappropriate?Even if this were a temporary solution, enable the select with multiple selections, ala <select></select>
