Update: We released a new version of the desktop app that's compatible with AIR Beta 2. Download and install AIR Beta 2 at http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/air.html and then download the new Pownce app at http://pownce.com/download/ .

... it also mentions on the Adobe AIR download page that the AIR Beta 1 will expire on December 11, 2007 anyhow ... I will probably try a few more times anyhow, might be an issue with the unintall or something, not sure ... I remember reading about it though ...
I also have Parallels running on my MacBookPro, and I thought I bumped across some other peculiarity about this particular scenario in my attampts to troubleshoot ...
... anyhow ... thanks again ... until then, I Pownce online ;] ...

But then I went here and followed the directions:

Inappropriate?I'm on Intel Macbook Pro, and I installed Air Beta 2 and Pownce Bata 1,
and I don't see amy post on desktop app at all.
Refresh doesn't work, either.
Any suggestions?

Inappropriate?Editing my original response: Adobe AIR released a new version on December 12. I'm currently in correspondence with our team about the desktop app compatibility with the latest version. I'll be sure to post on here when I have a more solid answer on this!

Inappropriate?Yeah, I woke my computer from sleep this morning and I got a message about the app being out of date with Air...I guess that means Air auto-updated itself or something. Either way, can't wait to have the desktop app back! :)

Inappropriate?Another update: If you download Adobe AIR Beta 2 (not 3) below the fold on the Adobe page, it *should* work with the current Pownce AIR app.
