Anyone else having trouble logging in from the Pounce (AIR) desktop client?
I keep getting a "Whoops! Try again, please." message. I'm quite certain I haven't forgotten my login information.

Inappropriate?I signed out of the website and signed back in successfully. Looks like it's just the client.

Inappropriate?Seems to have been resolved. Thanks.

Inappropriate?I'm still having the same problem. :-( I'm able to login to the pownce website with no problem, but when I try to login to the AIR application, I get the "Whoops! Try again, please." message.
I'm using the Adobe AIR b3 release and the new Pownce client (1.02)
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Maybe a networking issue. I am able to login just fine right now.

Inappropriate?I'm still having problems logging in using the AIR app for Pownce. I enter my UN & PW (same ones that work on the Pownce web site) but all I get is the "Whoops! Try again'" message.
I've un-installed the AIR b3 release and re-installed it, and also un-installed & re-installed the Pownce AIR app...and yes, I have rebooted!
Is there some sort of logging that can be enabled to see why my login is failing???
I’m still frustrated

Inappropriate?By the way...this topic is mis-filed in the "Pownce on the web" section, it belongs in "Pownce on the desktop".

Inappropriate?More Troubleshooting Efforts:
I wanted to rule out network/firewall connectivity issues, so I just just fired up a virtual machine instance of Win XP SP2 (using VMWare Workstation) on my primary desktop machine (also running Win XP SP2).
I installed Adobe AIR and the Pownce AIR desktop client in the VM and was able to login successfully. So now I know it's not a connectivity\firewall issue.
So...there's SOMETHING on my host machine that is causing the Pownce desktop app to fail during login.
Can anyone offer any additional troubleshooting tips? Adobe AIR doesn't utilize the Windows Events Logs (I looked for diagnostic messages\errors there...but there are none to be found). Does AIR provide any additional debugging logs, flags, etc that I can enable to help me troubleshoot this issue??
I’m still, still frustrated

Inappropriate? That's very odd. Do any other Adobe AIR apps work on your real install of Win XP SP2 or is it just the Pownce client giving trouble?
-
Inappropriate?Im Having similar trouble - and it also affects other AIR apps - I tried the ebay desktop thing and am having the same issue at login... effin computers... why can't it just work.
I’m angry

Inappropriate?I'm also having this problem, with the 1.03 app, but running on Mac Leopard. I've logged in and out on the website, but it doesn't help.
Other AIR apps, eg Twhirl, work fine, even posting to Pownce via the API.
So I think the culprit is absolutely the Pownce app.
I’m getting annoyed because this has been going on too long and has not been noticed/responded to by Pownce
