Blocking option?
I was wondering if there are any plans to build in a blocking option?
No, Pownce is not Twitter, but one of the things I like about Twitter is its ability to block someone directly from their userpage.
I, for example, have a user that requested friendship long ago. I decided to ignore the request and move on. The problem is, this user keeps adding comments, and I'd rather not hear from this person. I can't block him, though, until he requests friendship again.
Are there any plans in the works to add this?
By the way, I'm happy with the increased stability as of late. You guys have done a good job turning this around :)

Inappropriate?Hey there. I've got a nice answer for you – We've already got such an option! Unfortunately, it's a bit buried, hence your difficulty finding it.
If the person has friended you, go to your 'fans' list (bottom of the left column on your home page). Find the person and hit the Block button. They will no longer receive your notes in their feed automatically and they won't be able to comment. Note that if you send anything publicly, the person could still potentially see your note (it's public after all!) but they won't be able to comment.
I'll work on putting that link directly on fan/stranger profile pages as well as it would be more obvious there.

I know the idea had been thrown around with a couple friends that it should be on the person's page, but I'm glad you see it as a potential issue. It'd definitely make the site a lot easier to use!

Inappropriate?It's there...but when you have almost 500 fans...it's *really difficult* to weed through to find the offender.
Adding functionality to block on the user's page would come in useful to block someone who just wanders across your public notes and spams you without following/friending you .

Inappropriate?Thanks for suggesting this feature. We've now implemented it. It should be much easier to unfriend and block people now. Hope that helps!
