Google Analytics
I am trying to figure out how to add my Google Analytics code. I just paid for a Pro Account and this would be a nice feature to add with a Pro, or offer it for free. Thank you for your support, sb ;-)

Inappropriate?I'm guessing it would be quite problematic for Pownce to allow people to add Google Analytics code (or any javascript, for that matter). Allowing scripts like this would open up significant security holes in their system. What kind of data are you coveting here?

Inappropriate?I'm just trying to add the code like we can in our Ning account. I don't know the code Pownce is using, but Ning has a special box to copy/paste this Google Analytics Javascript. Maybe Ning has a way to only accept the certain code Google Analytics offers and no other form.
This Google Analytics Code is a way for webmasters to understand traffic flow with certain keywords you are desiring to draw attention to from the search engine results. This data from the search engines are all the major search engines across the Internet, plus all the Images and Video's being published.
The Google Analytics also tells us who our referral sites are, meaning these sites recorded have nothing to do with someone doing a search on Google.
The Google Analytics will also tell you what part of the planet all your clicks are coming in from and it will also tell you the Bounce Rates on all your links being found. The Bounce Rate is an important piece of information when it comes to understanding why your receiving a high bounce rate. A high Bounce Rate means most of the people looking at your site are leaving your site right away. If your selling something, you want your bounce rate to be low.
This is only a small part of tracking your visitors to enhance your agility of customer service and understanding what your customer wants and desires on all levels.

I’m happy

Inappropriate? That makes sense, and explains where you're coming from. Ning is handling the Google Analytics code as a special case, I believe, and theoretically Pownce could do the same thing. However, I'm not sure how common your commercial use case is in the Pownce context where it's overwhelmingly personal use--by contrast, it's very common for Ning site managers to have some commercial focus.

Inappropriate?Yea i thought about the personal use on Pownce and this is one of the main reasons why we like it so much. Totally different here.
