How to change all my public posts into private ones?
How can I change all my public posts into ones only seen by my friends without deleting any posts? Can this be done? And how?

Inappropriate?Simple answer: Right now you cannot change the privacy settings on an individual note after you've sent it.
Changing the privacy on a note could be troublesome. Say you had a Private note and later changed it to Public, it would be confusing for the other recipients. Even the way you're suggesting (making a note more private) could be confusing, since some users used to be able to see your note and now they can't. In the end we elected to keep it simple and not let people change their minds later.

Inappropriate?Hi Daniel,
Thanks for answering my question. I understand what you're saying but I do want to let you know that almost ever other social messaging/media site I am a part of lets me switch back and forth privacy settings per post and globally. Pownce is the only one that I know that doesn't allow it. Wordpress allows me to change the privacy of each post, or the privacy of the whole blog. Twitter allows me to privatize my whole tweet profile with a couple clicks, same with Flickr. Like Wordpress, Flickr allows me to change each photo/video too.
I really recommend that Pownce follows suite. The only option I have to privatize my Pownce history right now is to delete it -- which will also confuse users but lose a potential user base. I am seriously considering deleting my Pownce account just to simply hide some messages from the public view. Please consider adding a "make my all my Pownces private."
