I can't get pictures to display.
I saw this photo appearing in Pownce: http://pownce.com/holgr/notes/765960/ - so I know that it's possible to get a picture to display.
But when I upload a picture file, it shows up as a link, with no thumbnail. Similarly, when I embed the URL for a pic in the message text, it shows up as an embedded link, with no picture.
What are other people doing that I am not aware of?

Inappropriate? To get photos to show up on Pownce, you would need to post a link to a Zooomr or Flickr photo. Notice on http://pownce.com/holgr/notes/765960/ that the link below the photo goes to a Zooomr page. Hope this helps, but let me know if you still need help! :)

Inappropriate? Also, we're likely going to add the function of previewing photos you've uploaded directly to Pownce, but it's a bit tricky, so it might take us a bit.

Inappropriate?I'm having a problem with Flickr images not showing up. I've linked directly to the image just like in the "example" as well. I'm getting rather frustrated by this because it was supposed to be an easy "just insert link" function, and it works for EVERYONE that I've spoke to so far in the exact same method that I used.
I’m frustrated.

Inappropriate?Figured out a reason why Flickr images don't show up. If 3rd-party searches are disabled, it disables the Flickr API, and I assume that is what Pownce is using to create the thumbnails. I don't like that I can't disable 3rd party searches and leave the API intact, but whatever.
I’m meh.

Inappropriate?I have done all this as well and still can't get my flickr images to show up as anything but a link.
I’m bummed

Inappropriate?Ok I got it to work. I was using the link that flickr gives you as the "direct link" when I should have been using the standard view one.
