If I drop contacts will Pownce load my page?
Pownce only loads my page 20% of the time at best. If I dropped a bunch of contacts would it load more reliably or is this just a problem that everyone is having?

The short-term answer is that yes, your page will load more often if you drop the number of people you're receiving notes from (by receiving a ton of notes, it slows down the page and creates the white screen).
The long-term answer is that we're working on making Pownce's performance better, so we hope to be able to support larger numbers of friends/fans-of in the future.

Inappropriate?Ariel, I haven't added any new contacts in weeks, but with over 2,000 at present it seems that the only way to reduce the number that I have is to delete them one by one. Is there any way that I can bulk dump contacts? Is it possible that you guys could, say, bulk dump 1,500 at random of my 2,000 or so contacts? -

Can you try testing out a *potential* fix for us?
If so, can you log in to Pownce (you may receive a white screen) and navigate to http://pownce.com/settings/preferences/ and change your Default Notes Filter to Sent By Me? Then, test if loading your Pownce home page loads quicker/more often. This *might* be a round-about solution, but we need you to test it to know for sure!

Inappropriate?Ariel I changed that setting but I still frequently get back blank white pages when I try to go to http://pownce.com/thomashawk/ also tried to post a photo again today and got the dupe entry error that people have been commenting about in the other Get Satisfaction thread. -

i can actually log in and see my account! ]
i can only view the "show notes sent by me" view.
i cannot see the "all notes and replies" view {pownce.com/djp/all/ } it crashes out.
it's still as slow as molasses
but we are getting somewhere!
