Issue with custom theme

I love the new theme options but my friends can't see my custom theme. Even though looking at my public profile the theme comes through just fine. Also if I use one of the premade themes it works just fine. I know that a moderatly small percent of the user base has Pro but I would like to use the feature. Thanks and if you guys can figure it out, it would be very nice to use it.
