Mobile Interface Remember Me button.
I think Pownce Mobile should be able to store login information. I use secure passwords on accounts, and it is a total pain typing in the passwords over and over and over when using my iPod Touch as there is no 'remember me' button. I realize its a security benefit not having this, but facebook has it, and it works fine for them.
As a web developer, I just think that when it comes to web services being served to mobile customers, the less typing on handhelds the better and saving passwords would make the experience a lot better, as like I said typing in passwords with alternating capitals, and symbols over and over on a iTouch is an unnecessary hassle.

Inappropriate? The Pownce mobile site stores session data in a cookie for up to 2 weeks. Are cookies enabled on your iPod Touch?

Inappropriate? From what I see it is enabled to accept cookies, for some reason though every time I visit it asks me to sign in again. Maybe its an issue on my end, I have the latest firmware 1.1.4, etc.
I still think a remember me button would be beneficial, then if someone doesn't want to remain logged in (ie a friend is using it, etc) they can choose to not have one. Remember me buttons are pretty standard on nearly every site with a login form, including digg, and this site was well.
Thanks for the reply Leah.
