Never Ending Friend Request

This is most likely due to a bug we're currently working on that affects friend/fan counts. We'll look into this! Thanks for your feedback.

I am having the same problem. I've grabbed screen shots, though, you probably don't need them. I can provide the URLs if it helps.

My pownce keeps saying I have a friend request, but when I click '1 Friend Request' the next page says I do not.

It's nearly a month since this was first raised and it still appears to be a problem. :-( Maybe if it's left long enough it'll become a feature instead of a bug! ;-)

It's a nuisance that I keep being told that I have a friend request, but eventually I'll learn to live with it. Problem is that when I do get a Friend Request I'll ignore it and upset someone.

This problem began for me today when I tried to accept a friend request and got an error (unfortunately didn't write it down). The friend concerned was not added, I had to search for them and friend request them back. Since then, it permanently says I have a friend request but as above, when you click through, it says I have no friend requests. This is a big problem for me because I use the Flock browser which tells me when I have undealt-with friend requests in any of my services, so now that icon is permanently lit on my browser.

I agree, let's figure out how to turn it into a feature. I'm thinking my friend request comes from a stalker with super special powers like "invisibility," and "doesn't-existability."

Nah, my never ending friend request is from my boyfriend - I know this because I was sat with him when he added me - then when I logged in and tried to accept, the error popped up and he was not added. Then I just went to his profile and friend requested him so he is added now, but I still have the friend request notification that won't go away!

I have been waiting for weeks, but it seems that I don't have the Friend Request Issue anymore! Is it only me?

i now have 2 never ending friend requests.... they just sit there always taunting me

Me too. Maybe one day my two phantom friends will get together and I will get a whole family.

Still 1 never ending "ghost" friend request for me.

This still seems to be a problem. I know it's on the list of things to be fixed, and I'm sure that it's considered a minor issue, but visible issues like this can tend to damage the image of a company (or service) if they happen over a prolonged period of time.

Overall, I'm less concerned about the bug itself and more concerned about Pownce's image.
