New Pownce desktop version for Adobe AIR Beta 3 soon?
Well, it's just the same game we played when beta 2 of AIR came out - when I try to install it, I get the message telling me that this app (Pownce desktop client) is not compatible with the new version of AIR.

Inappropriate?We've got a new version with lots of new features–not to mention beta 3 compatibility–on the way. It sucks that Adobe made new versions of the runtime incompatible with older apps, but I guess that's something to be expected from a framework that's still under development.

Yeah, soon after my posting I read about the 'opening' of Pownce to the public and the much improved desktop client that will be released simultaneously. Really looking forward to it!
And You're right, of course, that's probably the curse of beta, although it is a bit odd indeed that all previous applications are rendered useless whenever Adobe releases a new version of AIR. Well, let's hope that soon AIR will come out of beta.
