once i log in, i can't get into my POWNCE.
ok here's the deal:
i am on a mac and have the same problem in both safari & firefox.
if i am not logged in to Pownce i can go to pownce and surf around no problems, i can even go to my own pownce profile page and look around no problems.
i can create a dummy account and then sign in and be fine. no problems.
but as soon as i sign in to my REAL ACCOUNT then i cannot get into my pownce. once i sign in i can view other people's pownce accounts but i CANNOT get into mine.
i get this error in safari:
"Safari can’t open the page “http://pownce.com/djp/”. The error was: “Operation could not be completed. (kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork error 302.)” (kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork:302) Please choose Report Bugs to Apple from the Safari menu, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message."

I just thought I would offer this as a temporary thing if you were frustrated about not being able to use Pownce at all. If I moved your username, it would just move the name, not your information. Feel free to decline the offer if it seems like more of a hassle, I just thought I'd offer it as a temporary way to use Pownce as we continue to look into the situation. -

i am signing in now using mobile pownce. m.pownce.com - i am able to sign in and get my friend requests. it sorta works like that.... weird

Inappropriate?We just fixed something that may resolve the error but we need your help in determining this. Can you try accessing the site once more now and let me know if you still receive a 500 (or any other type) error?

Inappropriate?No I still have the problem Ariel, almost positive it has something to do with writing out the aggregated notes themselves, i can get to any page that is NOT my home page (list of my friend's notes) - i can get to settings, private notes and even friend requests. just not my homepage or any list of notes. my username is 'jakemarsh' if you wanna check it out.

i just tried 5 times and it DID WORK - once.
i tried it in firefox and safari...
so it's sorta starting to work... but not fixed yet!
when it did work it was SSSLLLLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW.

Inappropriate?Can you try logging in on a different system (e.g. different network/computer)? If not, I would need permission from you to login and test your account. We're wondering if this is potentially a problem w/ the network or computer you're using due to the browser errors you're encountering and the sporadic nature of it. Any additional details help - thanks!

I've tried from a TON of different computers, network connections, browsers, etc. Same behavior. You have my FULL permission to login and use my account to test this issue, please by all means, do so and let me know what ya find out :)

but the pownce air desktop client is now working for me... first time in ages. and i just tried using my pownce account another 4 times and it worked once again!

Inappropriate?Ok - we'll start testing these accounts. This will mean your password changes while we're testing - you should be able to retrieve the testing password by using the "Forgot Your Password" functionality on http://pownce.com/login .
