Pownce AIR client seems to be using around 6% of the CPU at all times... is this normal?
On my Mac, I just noticed that the AIR client is using about 6% of the CPU at all times. Is this just due to the early, unoptimized state of the client or is this a bug or is this just normal?? Anyone else have this issue?

Inappropriate?I'm afraid we won't know what's "normal" until AIR is out of beta. We're not doing anything in our code that should be churning like that (periodic HTTP requests certainly shouldn't, anyway). I'll ping some folks on the AIR team and find out what that might be. -
Inappropriate?Update: we met with the AIR team at Adobe yesterday, and they've confirmed that this is an AIR issue. Apparently even empty Flex apps (that is, ones that don't actually do anything) exhibit this same behavior.
