Inappropriate?That sounds awfully funky. Any chance you can post a screenshot? I've never tested it in Portable Firefox.

The eee runs at 800x480 resolution, so that may be a factor aswell.
Using the stylish plugin for firefox (allows for custom stylesheets on a per webpage basis) I added the following css which appears to remedy the problem.
#contents {
margin: 0px 0px 0px -390px !important;
}
Of course the negative margins are awful but it works for a quick fix on my end. :-)
I’m silly

Inappropriate?I just went on pownce on my mac. I resized the browser to around 800x480 pixels. It seems when the browser get's smaller than the page on pownce the div with id content is shifted to the left in proportion to the amount of space cut off. Thus making the user unable to scroll to the left to show what has been cut off. (Still able to scroll to the right)
I’m indifferent

this solves the problem

Inappropriate?Yeah, sounds to me like the eee's small screen is the problem - most websites these days really require minimum of 1024x768 for everything to look right. One reason why I'm gonna wait for the 8.9" eeePC to be released.
