Privacy on Notes Switched
I visited my page many times without logging in, and no notes were public. Today I disabled Fire Eagle and all my preexisting notes went public! I set it so that all future notes default to friends only. And the few I've made since have worked properly. How can I switch the privacy on all my existing notes without deleting them?

Inappropriate?Disabling Fire Eagle should not change your privacy settings. What probably happened is that we recently set the default "send to" to public, which was announced here: http://pownce.com/pownce/notes/3247530/ . Changing your settings back to friends only should prevent your notes from going to the public moving forward. Currently there is no way to switch the privacy levels of notes already posted. Apologies for the inconvenience!

Thank you! You're right. Looking back...It's only the last week or so that ended up being public. No biggie. Thank you. -
Inappropriate?I deleted the public ones. But three still show up when I look at my page without logging in. When I am logged in I can't see them because I already deleted them.

I viewed your page and didn't see any public notes posted. Are you still experiencing this issue? -
No, it stopped. Thank you.
