remove the username from the public profile RSS feed.
PLEEASE take the username out of the public RSS feed. It ruins my twitterfeed and my facebook status.
Fortunately for me. I'm so clever I got the username says so my facebook shows Colin says: instead of Colin username:

Inappropriate?I like this idea. I've tried using Yahoo Pipes to strip out the name, but Pownce doesn't play well with Pipes. Using Pownce to help with syndication doesn't work well when usernames are in the feed itself. Seeing a whole string of "username:" in RSS or syndicated on a website looks awful.
I’m annoyed

Inappropriate?I have to agree. If I'm reading or displaying my public feed, which should only have posts from myself, there's no reason for why "macmanx:" should preface any of the titles.
I wanted to display my Pownce public feed in my blog's sidebar, but because of this issue, I switched to generating my feed with Ounce instead.
I don't mind seeing the username prefix within the private feeds, which features notes from both ourselves and our friends, but there's no reason for the prefix to be in the public feeds, which only features posts from the desired user.
I’m frustrated
