RSS feed for notifications?
I searched all over the site for this feature, and it doesn't seem to exist. Either that or I just can't find it. Is there any way to get an RSS feed of everything being pownced to me? There's a feed for what I post publicly, but not a feed for what I receive publicly or privately. I would rather not get notifications of new messages via email, and the client isn't quite there yet... but without them, there is no way to know if I have new messages without checking the site.

It's not available until we come up with a security model to allow us to do it. You can currently only get a feed of public notes. Obviously, you don't want just anyone to be able to see the notes that have arrived to you. So, we need to get proper security set up for RSS (not a super easy task) then we'll release. Please be patient with us on this one.

An easy security model is to simply generate a secret token for each user, then append that token onto the feed url. When the feed is checked, you can check against the secret token. So my feed could be something like:

Inappropriate?FYI: Pownce just rolled this feature out this week. You can go to your main page (e.g. http://pownce.com/jayallen for mine) and click on the feed icon in the address. See http://pownce.com/settings/secret_key/ for more details about different feeds you can subscribe to as well as the 'secret key' security feature that keeps your private stuff private.
