Everytime I log into Pownce, my browser just gives me a white window. I've heard it's a known issue for people with many friends, but I haven't been able to log in for months now. I'd love to continue using the service!

Inappropriate?A number of people on Powncewar.com (including Veronica) haven't been able to reach the top 100 because they haven't been able to access Pownce in a while so it is not an entirely isolated problem :)
I’m not too fussed but on behalf of the affected it should be fixed asap

Yeah, it's a little embarrassing for me actually. It appears that I don't use the site, but it's through no fault of my own! I'd LOVE to be there more, but it's just not happening. -

As you may have read/heard, this issue occurs due to the number of notes you're receiving since Pownce threads your incoming notes until the end of time (e.g. instead of ending your stream at 10 pages, we thread it back until day 1). So, a lot of people can be friends/fans of you, but if you're friends/fans of a considerably large number of people, you're receiving a ton of notes which slows it down and generates the white page of death. Unfortunately, long-term developing is needed to get Pownce to a better state where we could handle this large capacity.
In the meantime, the option available would be to make your friends into fans. I know this is not ideal in regards to wanting to be friends with a lot of people, but it will get your account up-and-running again. Additionally, if you're wanting to see what people you don't know yet on Pownce are saying, you can view all public notes at http://pownce.com/public_notes .
We're very sorry about the inconvenience but we continue to very much appreciate your feedback that helps us to keep building Pownce to be bigger and better!
