Inappropriate? There is a login at the top when you click through on items from the feed so we can track your reading or flipping. Once you login once a cookie is set so you no longer have to see that login at the top.

Inappropriate?thanks for the response Kyle, problem is that the RSS results look like this:
http:// PRESSFLIP .... LINK
so if I include it in an aggregator feed, and someone else looks at it, they will see the pressflip header/login
there is zero functionality to this design, except to advertise pressflip, please eliminate the appending of pressflip to rss feed results
thank you
I’m sad

Inappropriate? You are rushing to conclusions here.
The login header is there so you can give us feedback if you happen to not be logged in. That is the function. If you want to share the feed for others to click through on that is your decision.
We favor privacy and personal functionality over sharing when it comes to these RSS feeds. -
Inappropriate?perhaps I am rushing Kyle, but the way I approach pressflip, as a user is this:
I login and monitor the results and maybe add/edit some keywords for new or existing searches. if I see something that doesn't fit, I "flip" it - btw, from a useabilty pov, "flip" is confusing - a red X would be unmistakeable.
I use the feed to save time. If I start seeing that a lot of "bad" results are coming in, I log in and edit/erase results and keywords as necessary to improve things.
My point is that the RSS feed is to get results, interacting with the app is done while logged in. I don't want to constantly see a pressflip header on RSS links nor to have them show up when I fwd or show the feed to others.
perhaps there is a way to give the user the ability to turn this feature on/off and so, not append the pressflip link ahead of the actual link.
great product btw, I'm really enjoying playing with it and starting to get a handle on how to tweak the results. I don't think I've used it enough for it to "learn" or at least not visibly so, but I look forward to that.
:-)
I’m hopeful
