Usability problems in editing/deleting feeds
Cool idea but I have some constructive criticism regarding usability issues that are a major stumbling block for me:
1) Having to go through "Set up my Lifestream" AND then "add a new site" in order to delete a feed is completely nonintuitive.
2) The inability to edit custom feeds without deleting and starting again is really annoying.
What would be great would be to be able to edit or delete any feed directly from my Lifestream listing.

Inappropriate?Thanks for the feedback.
I'm not sure what you're saying in #1. To delete a feed, you go to "Set up my lifestream" and then click the orange "remove" link to the right of any site you have already added. There is no need to "add a new site."
In terms of #2, we were trying to keep the process as simple as possible. We tried to weigh the effort to design and code an easy-to-use edit process with the effort required to re-add a custom site. I'll take the blame for that one. I felt that deleting and re-adding wouldn't be a big deal. Will definitely look at that again based on your comments, tho. -
Hi Shawn,
Thanks for the response. In regards to #1, when I click on "Set up my lifestream," I see no sites that I've previously added on the right-hand side of the screen (under "2. Review your selections...") UNTIL I click "add a new site," whereupon I'm given a listing of the sites I've already added. Maybe this is a bug? I'm using Firefox 2.0 on Mac OS 10.4. -
Inappropriate? That definitely sounds like a bug. If you could take a screenshot and send it to shawn at profilactic dot com, we'll take a look at it.

Inappropriate?I agree with Arester that deleting and starting a custom feed again is really annoying. Then again, I am new to this so perhaps once I get the hang of it I wouldn't need to restart too often. Although must say its a put off for new users from a useability point of view.
