I have an idea I would like to share. About the maturity rating. I see Dy's point. he's proud of what he writes - after all, we're all here because we want as many people as possible to read our stuff.

Poll for an age. If someone is 18, have mature rating turned on. Of course, let them know that on the registration page. they have the option to turn it off if they find anything too unsettling. I mean, I'm sure Dean Koontz and Stephen King have used the "B" word now and then. Perhaps, have one more category, relegated to tabbo perhaps which details with grotesquly violent or shocking substance that works like mature content now. That category wouldbe available to users over 18 as well, but only if they looked for it. But by and large, the majority of users over the age of 18 are accustomed to reading a few foul words. It's not my site, but I joined it because it's a literary one, and it seems to me as a wannabe author that the less things are censured the better..

On a further note (and no offense), I'm sure if someone wanted to find tittilating content, the internet probably has a few better options.
