What areas of the site are slowing you down? What could be improved?
Hey guys,
I've set this discussion thread up to get some answers from you all to a specific question. Once the writing circles (groups) feature goes live on the site, we'll have a place to chat in general, but I thought this would be a good spot to get things started.
I'd like to know, first and foremost, if there are any areas of the site that are causing you grief or holding your usage up. Are there existing areas that can be improved, or that bother you, or that just need further refinement? I'm not looking for feature suggestions here (you can start separate "IDEA" threads for those), I just want to know what out of the *existing* site structure could use tweaking to make the experience a little smoother for you.

Inappropriate?Sometimes I have a problem with selecting the number of items to show in each category. I'll click on 10 and it will do as it's supposed to, but then when I want to change it back to 5, 5 is still selected and isn't a link anymore so I can't change it. I have to close the browser and reopen it, which will automatically set it back to 5.
Mac os x and Flock. I have a relatively stable internet connection so I don't think it's that... I don't try that very often but I know this has happened at least twice. I can't get it to mess up right now though. :-/ -
Inappropriate?Yeah, that's actually a known bug that I keep forgetting to fix. I'll get around to it at some point. :)

Inappropriate?About the number of items to show... I was wondering if you could make it a more permanent setting, that would use the member's previous selection when they log in again, instead of defualting to 5.

Inappropriate?Actually, it's just buggy. The selection gets cookied and should actually be saved between browser sessions, but the display of the selected number shows 5 sometimes when it shouldn't be. I haven't sat down to fix it yet. My bad. :D
